The design of this 11 unit housing scheme in a mature residential area of Dalkey followed the principle of a sustainable development in serviced built up areas of the city. The site which currently accommodates one single dwelling is of sufficient size and scale suitable for a more intense development.
The resultant design of a high-quality infill development of terraced houses and a small block of apartments was the most effective way to plan the site and allows for a sympathetic residential development that reflects the suburban character of the area.
