The site at Woodbank on the northern fringes of Shankill village consisted of 3 dwellings fronting onto the Dublin Road and was developed to accommodate a residential development of 72 units in line with planning guidelines that positively encouraged higher density in quality infill schemes.
The resultant development of houses and apartments is set around a central landscaped area and by working closely with the project arboricultural consultant existing trees and hedgerows were retained on the site helping to retain the sylvan setting and skillfully integrate the scheme into its village setting.
