Planning Application

Here at PMCA Architects, we provide a full planning application service. A Full Planning Application can involve the preparation of proposed design drawings, pre-planning application consultation with the local planning officer, preperation of all necessary design drawings, reports, completion of planning application forms including the preparation of a site notice and newspaper advertisement.

Design and Construction Drawings

PMCA also provide a full set of design and construction drawings of your proposed project that will allow your contractor to follow the design as specified in the design brief. The more detailed the design drawings the less possibility of unforeseen costs and delays.

Refurbishments

At PMCA, we carry out refurbishments on many different types of buildings, ranging from Residential, Commercial and Office Blocks. We also undertake the refitting of Apartment Units, the refurbishments from hotels while the hotel remains open for business and Listed Protected Buildings.

Project Management

Design Project Management is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from beginning to completion. Our Project Management is aimed at meeting a client's requirement in order to produce a functionally building on time and within budget.

Building Condition Survey / Schedule of Dilapidations

A building condition survey is carried out to assess the condition of a building, in particular, the structure, fabrics and components, finishes, services and also the general presentation of the property. A building survey is like a health check for the building. The condition of the building will be recorded in photographs together with a report.

Final Inspection and Snag List

PMCA insure that a final inspection is taken place at the end of the build and a snag list is prepared, which is an inventory of the things you are not happy with when a building project is finished, is drawn up and provided to your contractor.
